Knitting kit for Easy Peasy shawl with stripes in Önling No 15 yarn
Easy Peasy striped shawl is part of Önling's Easy Peasy beginner collection of basic patterns in classic, Nordic design. The patterns are easy to understand for beginners with no abbreviations and with video references to the techniques used. This lovely, soft shawl - or scarf if you want - has a light v-shape or arrowhead shape, and the stripes help accentuate this shape. You can compose the stripes yourself or you can order one of the premade color combinations.
Easy Peasy Striped Shawl can be knitted in Önling No. 2 or Önling No. 15 yarn. The shawl shown in the pictures on this page is worked in Önling No 2 yarn. If you prefer this kit, you can access the here

When you knit in Önling No 15, you get stripes in 4 different colors.You must order 3 balls in 3 different colors and 2 balls. of your chosen main color, which becomes both a stripe color and a hem color.

Recommended circular needle size:3.5 mm / US 4 for shawl and size 4.0 mm / US 6 for edge.
Gauge:
23 stitches and 46 rows (23 ridges) of garter stitch on needle size 3.5 / US 4 = 10 x 10 cm / 4x4 inches.
Procedure: The shawl is worked from the center back and outwards. You start by casting on 1 stitch, then knitting and working increases throughout the shawl. When you have used up 1 ball of each of the colors A-F, the rib hem is worked with the last ball of Color A.
